7 For there are three that testify: 8 the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement. 9 We accept man’s testimony, but God’s testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God, which he has given about his Son.
it all points to not just the existence of Christ, but the justice, grace, and love for God for man. By “water” Christ was baptized and the Father spoke, “This is My loved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” By blood, He shed His life on the cross. By the Spirit, we have the internal voice that also speaks of Him. These 3 together are powerful witnesses to the REAL life and purpose of Christ. Be reassured today!

4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. 6 This is the one who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
another evidence of REAL faith is in winning over the pull of the world. the world system wants to conform, push down, defeat, condemn, enslave, and blind. following Christ by faith who was born of water and died by shedding His blood frees us from the world’s system. how are you doing in the war to beat the system?

1Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. 2This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. 3This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome…
What do you love? The REAL follower of Christ has a genuine love for God, for Jesus, for what He says, for following what He says. The REAL question is not are you following God’s ways, but are you loving to follow God’s ways. It always comes back to the heart. What do you love?

xlr8 this week
Just a heads up to everyone with kids in xlr8. Just got an e-mail from Mr. James Lynch and he said spread the word – xlr8 will not be meeting this week.
I believe he may be going fishing with Roy Bob Ketchum and Sheriff Josh Cofield.
