do you lead with grace? part 1
God leads with grace. He sacrifices, loves, forgives, and accepts in order to overwhelm and win our heart. He’s interested in far more that just our obedience, outward performance, conformity, or forced following. He longs to fill us with genuine desire from a heart that is new.
How do you know if your heart has been captured by that grace? How do you know if you have been won?
- you want to be with Him
- you want to be honest with Him
- you want to do whatever He says
- you are grateful for all He does
- you sense genuine oneness with Him
These are the greatest evidences of a person being truly set free! Desire for God has been ignited in their heart. Its no longer about trying to do enough good to be loved. Its about far more than being religious, spiritual, or than in keeping a list of rules. Desire and love have come alive.
And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. Ezekiel 36:26
