Its an awesome thing when men get together and talk about living out their faith. Men from encounter began meeting about a year ago early in the morning at Whataburger for some talk and prayer before heading off to work. What started with just 2 men now often will be 7-9 men. The talk is not about sports or cars, nor is it about religious subjects with endless debate. Instead the discussion is about how to live out the faith in following Jesus Christ. Its about marriage, work, friendship, struggles, leadership, temptation, consistency, and what it means to live as godly men in all of these areas.
I’m always amazed as the openness, the honesty, the willingness to not just speak but also to hear. God is shaping and making a new generation of men and I love being a part of it!
