encounter sponsors two unique ministries for motorcycle enthusiasts. beginning with an early Sunday morning ride, encounter road riders offers the opportunity for members of the community to come together for a short ride around Ellis County and the surrounding area before the weekly encounter services.
along with encounter road riders, encounter is the local sponsor of the Ellis County chapter of Circuit Riders, a unique ministry reaching out to motorcycle enthusiasts around the world.

a ministry, not a club!
circuit riders reach people on the streets and byways of America. these are people who have never stepped into a church or heard the news that Jesus loves them. but then men and women wearing leathers, chains and tattoos arrive on motorcycles with “Riding For Jesus” on their backs. they are circuit riders sharing the love of God with comforting words and lives are changed forever. circuit riders are ministers of God who are able to reach the broken-hearted of the world with the good news of Jesus Christ.
circuit riders’ goal is to evangelize, leading the lost to Christ, establishing them in a local church. to disciple and train those who have given their lives to the Lord to live an overcoming Christian life. to visit the sick and pray for their needs, and to work in various outreach ministries reaching out to the hurting in need of Christ.
circuit riders christian fellowship ministries accomplish this through evangelism, seminars, conferences, media, establishment of churches and ordination of pastors and ministers.
